Misty
Biography
Misty perfoms a mix of classic and contemporary folk/pop/blues style song covers, depending on the occasion. With vocals and acoustic guitar, she has a special interest in playing music by Australian artists (eg. Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Hunters & Collectors). Her other favourite theme is ‘girlpower’ – artists such as Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Sia, laidback and/or upbeat. She grew up around jazz in the home with her dad being a musician and studied piano and music theory throughout school. Misty followed a career in health for 20years whilst always keeping music in the background. Since becoming a mum, she is solely focused on music now and cant wait to bring some fun and finesse to your event!
